⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We recently had the pleasure of working with Krin as our dance instructor to choreograph a routine for our wedding dance, and we cannot recommend him enough!
Not only did Krin bring his passion and expertise to our lessons, but we also had lots of fun together. His infectious energy made every session really enjoyable, and his patient and encouraging teaching style put us at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy the process of learning our Bachata dance.
Krin was super accomodating with scheduling our lessons in the lead up to our wedding to make sure we had enough practice and felt confident with our routine. We were tight on time but managed to get in four lessons and with Krin's guidance we put together a fun and memorable routine that really wowed our wedding guests!
If you're looking for a skilled and fun dance instructor, Krin at Central Coast Dance Centre is the one for you! - Andy
Not Sure Where to Start? Follow Our Guide on Choosing Your Wedding Dance Song
Your first dance as a married couple is a magical moment, the music you choose sets the tone, captures your love story, and becomes a memory you'll cherish forever. Whether you want something romantic, upbeat, classic, or contemporary, here’s how to find the perfect wedding dance song.
Step-by-Step Guide to Choosing Your Wedding Dance Song
1. Reflect on Your Relationship
Think about the songs that are special to your journey — your first concert together, a song that played on a memorable trip, or the track you always sing in the car.
2. Decide the Mood
Romantic and slow, upbeat and fun, sentimental or lighthearted? Your choice will affect how your dance feels (and how much choreography you’ll need!).
3. Listen to the Lyrics
A beautiful melody is great, but make sure the lyrics align with your values and love story. Some songs sound romantic but are actually about heartbreak!
4. Consider Your Dance Style
If you have a particular style of dance in mind, make sure the style of your music matches. Our experienced instructors will guide you through style options and craft the perfect dance to suit your chosen music and mood you want to create.
5. Time It Right
Aim for a song that’s 2–3 minutes long. If your favourite is longer?? Do not worry! Our team will assist in cutting the music to make it match.
6. Ask Your Dance Instructor
Bring a few options of songs and get feedback on what works best for your skill level and comfort. We will work with you to make sure we can make your vision come to life whilst ensuring you enjoy your coaching sessions and performance. Dance is a way to reconnect with yourself and deepen your connection to your partner. Enjoying the process is key to learning a successful wedding dance.
